The MV Spirit is an ex-RNLI Fast Carriage
Boat (FCB)
She is the first Fast Carriage Boat
to be sold and is the only one in private ownership.
Recently fitted with new twin 320HP
engines, she is certified to meet the most stringent passenger safety
measures.
The MV Spirit was the prototype FCB
which later became the Mersey Class of lifeboat. The first Mersey
Class Lifeboat went into service in 1989 and is still the state of
the art Fast Carriage boat in the RNLI fleet
All search and rescue equipment has
been retained
