Innismurray Island was once home to ancient monastery whose remains can still be visited. The island can only be accessed by the beautiful natural harbor of Clashymore. Also on the island is some of the best bird watching in the area. Brent and Barnacle geese are annual visitors. Since the island was abandoned in the last century it is slowly returning to its natural state.

Coney Island

Coney Island is situated opposite Deadman's Point. It is accessible by car at low tide but is always easily accessible from MV Spirit. Coney is permanantly inhabited and retains the true island atmosphere. Travelers and locals alike are always welcome in Ward's bar. Cartys strand on the west side of the island is an almost deserted heaven for everyone from surfers to toddlers.
The new pier on Coney Island makes it an even more attractive island to visit.

Oyster Island

Oyster Island is but a good golf drive from Rosses Point, but can only be visited by boat. On MV Spirit you can circumnavigate the island and go through Struth na Maoile (the gap of a thousand currents) in safety.
