Sligo bay has a wide variety of wild life. In 2008 we encountered Gray seals, harbour seals, porpoise, common dolphins, bottlenose doplhins, basking sharks and minke whales. And there is a never ending supply of sea birds. This year, 2011 we spotted our first Sea Eagle and were luckey enough to catch it on film!

Sligo/Donegal bays are among the best whale and dolphin watching areas in Western Europe. Areas such as Culleenamore, Lissadell and the Seal rocks are among the favourite haunts of the seals in Sligo. The spacious deck area of the vessel serves as an ideal viewing platform when wild dolphins come out to play.

In late winter you can see seal pups at Ardbolin Island, but they grow so quickly. By Janusry they are naerly as large as their parents, but tetain the white colour.
